Sheriff Mark Lamb, U.S. Senate candidate, makes a visit to Yuma

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb Makes Campaign Stop in Yuma for U.S. Senate Race

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb made a pit stop in Yuma today as part of his campaign for the U.S. Senate race in Arizona. With a focus on cracking down on illegal immigration and drug smuggling, Lamb met with local farmers to address their concerns and learn how he could represent them in Washington D.C.

Lamb, who announced his candidacy last year, believes his experience as a sheriff uniquely qualifies him for the position of U.S. Senator. With firsthand knowledge of border issues in Pinal County, Lamb is committed to finding common-sense solutions to immigration problems and making it easier for legal immigrants to come to the country.

Currently, Senator Kyrsten Sinema holds the seat, but Lamb will be running against Kari Lake for the Republican nomination. On the Democratic side, U.S. Representative Ruben Gallego is seeking the nomination for Senate. With the race heating up, Arizona voters will have a choice between candidates with different backgrounds and approaches to the key issues facing the state and the country.
